Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely bi-weekly or weekly payroll for all employees, including hourly and salaried staff.
• Calculate and process wages, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and other pay elements in accordance with company policy and labor laws.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including W-2 processing and quarterly tax filings.
• Manage and process all payroll deductions, including benefits, 401(k) contributions, garnishments, and other voluntary deductions.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data within the payroll system, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping in a professional and timely manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing full-cycle payroll for a high volume of employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and FLSA regulations.
• Proficiency with major payroll software platforms (e.g., ADP, UKG Pro, Workday) and time & attendance systems.
• Demonstrated high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong understanding of complex payroll calculations, including overtime, shift differentials, and benefits deductions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for a unionized workforce.
• Proficiency with Kronos (UKG) timekeeping systems.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
