Demand Planner | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product categories.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional impacts to refine statistical models.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and production to gather demand intelligence.
• Lead or actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage demand planning for new product introductions and product discontinuations.
• Utilize advanced planning software to generate and manage demand plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning or supply chain forecasting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional alignment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for advanced data analysis.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Direct experience with advanced planning systems like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Anaplan.
• Demonstrated experience in an S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) environment.
