Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and ensure timely material availability.
• Oversee the procurement process for raw materials, components, and MRO items, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels through demand forecasting, planning, and inventory control systems.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow and support production schedules.
• Analyze material usage, lead times, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency gains.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the materials department, leveraging data and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong data analysis skills (e.g., advanced Excel).
• Deep understanding of inventory control, production planning, and logistics principles.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience managing a team.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience leading ERP system implementation or optimization projects.
