Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines.
• Adjust machine settings and programming to optimize production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Experience with tool changes, offsets, and basic machine maintenance.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Experience operating and/or programming CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
