Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers) to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to optimize production and ensure part quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or program errors.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and workholding devices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
• Demonstrated ability to perform machine setup, tool changes, and G-code/M-code editing.
• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
• Experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operational issues
• Demonstrated experience with tooling selection and optimization for various materials
