Meet the Team
The SDT (Self-Driving Truck) Base Apps team develops foundational applications that enable our product to be successful. From the communication between our Virtual Driver and our cloud-based Mission Management platform to diagnostics and software update interfaces. We are the over-the-air bridge for communicating with the SDT in a robust and reliable way.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of interfaces between the SDT and Mission Management for Telemetry, Remote Assistance, and Diagnostics (SOVD) use cases
- Write secure, efficient, and maintainable C++ code for both performance and flexibility
- Clearly communicate daily status on assigned activities and follow company policies and procedures
- Work in a highly collaborative environment
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6+ years experience (or Master’s with 4+ years)
- Proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17), design patterns, and real-time application development
- Solid experience with Linux, ROS2, and embedded system interfaces
- Hands-on experience with IoT frameworks, WebRTC, and video streaming pipelines
- Familiarity with diagnostics protocols such as SOVD and UDS
- Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, PKI) and security best practices
Bonus Points!
- Exposure to cloud-based diagnostics or monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434, threat modeling)
- Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, or TSN-based vehicle networks
- Prior work on over-the-air update pipelines or remote debugging tools

Hiring Range for Job Opening
US Pay Range
$160,800 - $193,000 USD
