Duties

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform general labor duties in an open-yard, multi-building ag facility
• Operate forklift and skid steer
• Load fertilizer spreaders and handle agricultural chemicals safely
• Dump grain trucks at the receiving pit
• Load outgoing grain trucks
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Perform deliveries when applicable, depending on CDL status
• Provide very good customer service when interacting with customers and drivers

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work significant overtime and weekends during peak agricultural seasons
• Equipment operation experience preferred
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and excellent customer service skillsd

Skills and abilities

• Strong mechanical and technical skills preferred
• Knowledge of agricultural crop protection and equipment
• Communication skills
• Problem Solving skill
• Able to adapt quickly in many different situations (customer requests, weather, etc.

Physical Demands

Physically able to perform all requirements including but not limited to:

• Ability to walk stairs and climb up/down and in and around equipment and facility
• Standing and walking for several hours for an extended period of time. Could be extended periods of sitting if driving.
• General cleaning and housekeeping
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
