Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis of production costs, labor, and material usage.
• Analyze manufacturing overhead, inventory valuation, and standard costing.
• Prepare financial performance reports and dashboards specific to production KPIs.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new manufacturing equipment and projects.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities within production processes.
• Support analysis of inventory levels, turns, and obsolescence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation).
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, specifically for production and operational expenses.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data analysis.
• Ability to analyze operational data and identify cost reduction opportunities or efficiency improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP modules (e.g., SAP PP, MM, COPA)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Understanding of supply chain finance concepts
