Plumbing Installer

Michigan Mechanical Ventures is a fast-growing contractor in Southeast Michigan looking to add talented and driven individuals to our team. We are a Family-owned Plumbing/HVAC company focused primarily on commercial service and new construction looking for a full-time Install Plumber/Service Plumber to join our team.

Qualifications of the Plumbing Installer/Service Plumber:

• Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• A general understanding of piping practices, drainage systems, and heating equipment.
• the ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
• knowledge of building and Construction.
• to be thorough and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Plumbing Installer/Service Plumber:

• Installing, Repairing and Maintaining Pipes, Fixtures and water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains, broken water lines and frozen pipes.
• Maintain parts inventory and distribution in accordance with contract requirements.
• Locate and mark pipes and connection positions and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using plumbing equipment.
• Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to ensure system is not leaking.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour.

• Farmington, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Plumbing: 1 year. (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License. (Required)
