Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at MeXo. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, agave spirits, and appreciation for our craft beverage and cuisine programs. Most of all, ensuring that guests enjoy a curated experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards
• Elevate guest experience and guide guests through our offerings with friendly, knowledgeable, inspired, and unpretentious poise.
• Maintain knowledge of spirits (we can train), producers, drink menus, specials, and promotions to effectively recommend items to guests.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Operate the Toast POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Strong preference for candidates with both craft and volume experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
• Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Toast POS or similar platforms.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of tequila and mezcal is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.

Pay: $8.00 - $45.00 per hour
