Title: Project Coordinator – IT Initiatives
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Employment Type: W-2 Contract
Rate: $25 – $30 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of complex, large-scale IT initiatives. The Project Coordinator will assist in managing schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. This is a hybrid role requiring strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating one or more large, complex IT projects (6+ months, 20+ team members).

• Support adherence to project management methodologies, including SUITE, investment management, and systems engineering practices.

• Organize and track project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk management plans.

• Provide clear progress updates on scope, quality, schedule, and budget.

• Escalate issues and risks to senior leadership when necessary.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure technical and business requirements are met.

• Support structured change management activities, including communications, stakeholder engagement, and readiness assessments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of project coordination or project management support experience.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to contribute to both technical delivery and change management efforts.

• Experience supporting vendor-managed projects with integrated technical components.

• Proven success working with cross-functional teams and Agency Leadership.
