Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in Stepdown or ICU department - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 - Charting experience with Cerner Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown Intermediate Care. The shift is scheduled for 3 nights per week from 19:00 to 07:30. Call requirements are not applicable for this role. Every other weekend availability is required. Holidays will also require availability every other holiday. Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. The unit consists of 22 beds with a patient to nurse ratio of 1:4. Preferred candidates will have charge experience. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Essential skills include managing cardiac drips, telemetry, and various nursing procedures. The work environment encompasses adult and geriatric patient care. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient diagnoses may consist of pneumonia, sepsis, CHF, and post-surgical care. Candidates should be comfortable floating within the facility or nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. All specified certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the position. It is important that candidates maintain professional conduct throughout the assignment. About Cynet Health
