We are actively looking for an experienced CNC programmer/operator who would like to join our international company here in Sterling Heights, Michigan . We are a premier manufacturing facility who designs, manufactures and delivers products based on customer requirements.
We specialize in several machining areas:
· Specialty Machines and Equipment
· Automated Assembly Systems
· Automated Transfer Systems
· Needle Bearing Assembly
· Fixtures
· Surface Grinding
· Jig Grinding
· CNC Machining

We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer who is looking for a long-term career where they can grow with the company. You will be responsible for both programming and operating our high-end CNC equipment. Our facility operates 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday would like someone who has flexibility to work overtime as needed and is looking for career growth in the future. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and the ability to operate CNC machinery with precision. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality components. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. We are also looking for someone who is looking to grow with the company and take on some additional responsibilities in the future.
Duties
- Set up including programming and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD and CATIA.
- Utilize math skills for calculations related to machining processes and tolerances.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- Use bore gauges and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance production workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or CATIA is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent math skills for precise calculations related to machining tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
