Registered Nurse (RN) Program Director for CNA Training

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program near Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the program, ensuring high-quality education and training, compliance with state regulations, and student success. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about healthcare education, workforce development, and empowering future CNAs with the skills needed to excel in their careers. The person in this role will complete both in-person training and our virtual/hybrid program as well.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership:
Instruct within the currently set CNA training curriculum, ensuring alignment with Michigan state requirements and industry standards.
Establish and maintain partnerships with healthcare facilities for clinical placements, job opportunities, and program support.
Provide strong leadership to students and with our owners, fostering a collaborative and positive educational environment.
Compliance and Accreditation:
Ensure the program continuously meets all state and federal regulatory standards and certification requirements.
Maintain and update all program documentation, accreditation reports, and records for audits and inspections.
Conduct regular assessments to uphold the highest standards of compliance, safety, and instructional quality.
Student Success and Support:
Oversee the admission, orientation, and ongoing support of CNA students.
Implement strategies for student retention, completion, and job placement.
Track and analyze student outcomes, using data to drive program improvements and reporting.
Monitor and utilize our Moodle LMS.
Budgeting and Program Operations:
Coordinate with other departments, including admissions, marketing, and student services, to support program growth and visibility.
Oversee facility and equipment management to maintain a safe, organized, and effective learning environment.
Qualifications:

Associates degree in Nursing (Minimum)
Highly ethical standards and ability to maintain strict student/instructor boundaries and relationships.
Current RN license in Michigan in good standing and a minimum of 2 years RN experience- one of which MUST be in a NURSING HOME. (Absolutely no exceptions to this!)
Ability to obtain Train the Trainer Certification in Michigan
3-5 years of experience in CNA training, healthcare education, etc.
Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a strong understanding of program administration.
Knowledge of Michigan CNA training regulations and accreditation standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
