Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Management Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for recent college graduates looking to develop leadership, business, and industry-specific skills. The selected candidate will participate in a structured training program after 6 months of employment that includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to different aspects of the business.
Upon successful completion of the program, the trainee will be evaluated for a potential leadership or specialized role within the company.
This position will start in the stockroom.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting in maintaining stock and inventory.
· Updating appropriate quote log(s).
· Provides support to the Detroit branch.
· Ability to work with customers, other employees, in all situations while keeping a professional demeanor.
· Must be good at organization, multitasking, communication, and time management skills.
· Source and work on parts for open service calls
· Create open order reports and track
· Create the fleet maintenance schedule and tracking system
· Facilitate PM and inspection program
· Maintain Safety Program records
· Facilitate sales and operations meetings
Key Responsibilities Once In The Management Trainee Program:
· Participate in a structured training program to develop an understanding of company operations, policies, and industry trends.
· Rotate through various departments , including sales, operations, customer service, and administration, to gain cross-functional experience.
· Assist with analyzing business data , identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to decision-making processes.
· Work closely with senior leaders, managers, and mentors to develop leadership skills and industry knowledge.
· Support customer interactions by learning about products, services, and customer needs.
· Help with project management tasks , process improvements, and business initiatives.
· Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills by working on real-world business challenges.
· Attend training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to build business acumen.
· Demonstrate a strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Recent college graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred).
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and think strategically.
· Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software/tools.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Internship or previous work experience in sales, operations, or management is a plus.
· A passion for leadership, business growth, and career development.
