Salary Range: $67,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control personnel on inspection techniques and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D methodology)
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors or technicians
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to quality improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with specific ERP/QMS modules (e.g., SAP QM, Oracle MES)
• Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
• Familiarity with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
