Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses according to job specifications.
• Operate various types of presses to produce parts, monitoring for efficiency and quality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues or material defects during production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical, injection molding).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, adjustments, and basic machine maintenance.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance or minor machine troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
