Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Traverse City, MI 49684 (Northern Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 6 weeks (option to extend to 13 weeks)
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: November 1, 2025
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
• Setting: Hospital Radiology Department
• Shift: Varied – Week 1: Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Week 2: Wednesday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM & Friday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• On-Call: 2-3 times per month (rotation)
• Weekends: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960 per week
• Scrubs: Caribbean Blue

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (required for Michigan radiology jobs)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech
• Experience with Siemens, Phillips, GE c-arms, Medtronic o-arm, ArtPix, and Fuji portables preferred
• Proven ability to perform radiographic exams for inpatients, ER, and outpatients
• Fluoroscopic guidance experience in the Operating Room with c-arm required
• Special Procedures Tech 1: Experience in neurology, orthopedic, urology, and general surgical cases using c-arm and o-arm is a plus
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet EMR system preferred
• Completion of all onboarding health and competency requirements

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams and diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population
• Provide fluoroscopic guidance in the Operating Room using c-arm technology
• Assist with special procedures, including neurology, orthopedic, urology, and general surgical cases (for Special Procedures Tech 1)
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including c-arm and o-arm devices
• Ensure accurate documentation and image management using Cerner RadNet
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
