JOB SUMMARY To ensure the information generated by the Design group is complete and accurate for the Purchasing department and/or shop floor. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Process information provided by the Design group by verifying accuracy for the Purchasing department and the shop floor.
  • Distribute all prints and work orders to the shop floor.
  • Distribute all prints and work orders to the production facility (I JOBS and large MTO's)
  • Generate production schedules and provide estimated delivery dates.
  • Maintain and update operations, resource groups, calendars, and routings for manufacturing/production in Epicor.
  • Responsible for providing Purchasing with information to acquire special material that arrives in time to satisfy shipping dates.
  • Work with the Service department and Design to expedite all service jobs through the shop floor that require manufacturing operations.
  • Generate pick list for crib.
  • Use CAD link to transfer bill of material into Epicor.
  • Front desk receptionist coverage when needed
QUALIFICATIONS This person is required to have strong organization and computer skills as data entry and writing purchase order requisitions is also function of this department This person will also attach inspection sheets and job traveler sheets (work orders) Working experience with manufacturing or design is a plus Helpful to know how to read a print is a major plus EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school OR, min 1 yr related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hours: 7/8 - 4/5pm Permanent job - 90 day contract to direct hire #IND3
