Salary Range: $66,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in East Lansing that are seeking skilled Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality inspection personnel and technicians.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to product quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances, defects, and customer complaints.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage and maintain quality control documentation, records, and procedures.
• Perform regular internal audits of processes and products to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of quality assurance/control experience in manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
• Proven leadership and team development skills, capable of training and mentoring quality personnel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying and resolving manufacturing quality issues.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and using various measurement and inspection equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with specific industry regulations (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace)
• Experience participating in or leading external quality audits
• Proficiency with specialized Quality Management System (QMS) software or ERP systems
• Experience with supplier quality management and development
