Lawn Care & Pressure Washing Tech

Join our team as a Lawn Care & Pressure Washing Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet vehicles and client properties. This role involves operating a truck-mounted pressure washing unit, removing dirt and debris from vehicles, and detailing the interiors. Additionally, you will perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging. You will also be responsible for minor maintenance tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the equipment. Responsibilities

• Drive a truck and trailer following a pre-established schedule, servicing multiple locations per day.
• Operate a heated pressure washer safely and effectively.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as removing dirt, debris, and staining from vehicles, cleaning windows, and detailing the interiors.
• Monitor the operational status of the unit to identify any abnormal sounds, vibrations, and performance.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as checking oil and other fluid levels.
• Use degreasers, soaps, and detergents as directed.
• Operate a squeegee and extension to wash large fleet trucks and equipment.
• Maintain established schedule and provide feedback to improve schedule efficiency.
• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience in route driving or equipment operation.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Proficiency in English - reading, writing, and speaking.
• Valid Iowa driver's license.
• Accountability, reliability, and safety awareness.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Creativity and flexibility to make field decisions when situations or circumstances change.
• Effective communication skills to report challenges or opportunities to the supervisor.
