CareOne Senior Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver

Case Details

• Shifts: Thursdays & Saturdays, 10 AM – 4 PM

• Additional days may become available

• Transportation: Driving client’s van (valid driver’s license required)

• Focus: Companionship and community outings

You’ll be providing companionship and taking the client out of her group home for activities and church on Saturdays. The group home provides lunch, and most outings are free. If there’s an activity with a cost, please contact the office for ticket arrangements or payment.

If the client prefers to go home early, call the office before returning. If she doesn’t want to go out, simply provide companionship at the group home—she enjoys watching cartoons, playing games, and good conversation.

Caregiver Responsibilities (General)

• Provide companionship & emotional support

• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation

• Dementia/Alzheimer’s support

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene)

• Safe transfers using gait belts/Hoyer lifts (training provided)

• Transportation to outings, errands, and appointments

• Promote safety, dignity, and comfort

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication skills

• Physically able to lift 25 lbs., bend, kneel, and walk

• 18 years or older

• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and registration

• Reliable mobile phone for scheduling & communication

• Must pass a background check

• Current TB test (can be completed post-interview)
