Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate all EHS incidents, near misses, and accidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare required reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning for the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local EHS regulations and compliance.
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and training initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation or auditing
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera)
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodology experience
• Specific experience managing complex environmental permits (e.g., Title V air permits, NPDES wastewater permits)
