Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, welders, and machine operators.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Manage daily production schedules to meet manufacturing deadlines and output targets.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication shop.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot fabrication challenges and equipment issues.
• Conduct training and development for team members to enhance skills and productivity.
• Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of fabrication machinery and tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in diverse fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, assembly).
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize fabrication processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for fabrication design and programming.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., CWI, specific exotic materials).
• Proven track record in mentoring and developing junior fabricators.
