Job Description:

Requisition Title: Markdown Associate

Location: TJ Maxx

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible (including early mornings, weekdays, and weekends as needed)

Job Summary

The Markdown Associate is responsible for accurately processing price changes and markdowns to ensure merchandise is properly ticketed and presented according to company standards. This role supports store profitability, inventory accuracy, and an organized sales floor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process markdowns accurately and efficiently using company systems
• Replace tickets and labels following pricing and markdown guidelines
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of markdown areas
• Ensure merchandise is correctly priced and sales-floor ready
• Follow shrink-prevention and ticketing control procedures
• Work closely with leadership and merchandise teams to meet markdown deadlines

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Prior retail experience preferred but not required

• Time-sensitive workload with set markdown schedules

This position has a starting pay range of $13.73 to $14.23 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
