Location: Brownstown Township, MI
Pay Rate: 23.00/hr
Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

We’re seeking a hands-on, service-driven Facility Coordinator / Maintenance Helper to support daily operations and light maintenance at a corporate facility in Brownstown Township, MI . This is a hybrid role combining coordination and administrative support with physical maintenance responsibilities—ideal for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in keeping a facility running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Coordination & Administrative Support:

  • Support the Regional Facility Manager with day-to-day operations

  • Receive and dispatch maintenance requests to technicians and vendors

  • Assist with vendor coordination, service contracts, and procurement

  • Schedule and track maintenance activities, inspections, and special projects

  • Provide front-line communication with staff, visitors, and contractors

  • Help manage operational reporting, budgeting, and auditing support

  • Support meeting setup, conference room reservations, and event coordination

  • Assist with financial tasks including accounts payable and receivable

  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely follow-up on service requests

  • Contribute to cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintenance Helper Duties:

  • Assist with general office maintenance (e.g., hanging pictures, furniture repairs)

  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs

  • Move furniture and equipment as needed

  • Support operations staff with building systems maintenance and repairs

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces

  • Use Hi-Lo or powered industrial trucks occasionally (training provided)

  • Record completed work accurately and efficiently

  • Attend safety training and follow site safety protocols

What You’ll Bring:
  • 2+ years of facility or property administration experience

  • Experience supporting a facilities or operations team preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with minimal supervision

  • Basic hands-on repair and maintenance knowledge

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Familiarity with safety standards and building systems is a plus

  • Willingness to be both at a desk and on your feet, shifting between coordination and hands-on support

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods

  • Capable of lifting and moving furniture or equipment occasionally

  • Must be comfortable working both indoors and around building systems

Pay Details: 23.00 per hour
