Pay Rate: 23.00/hr
Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

We’re seeking a hands-on, service-driven Facility Coordinator / Maintenance Helper to support daily operations and light maintenance at a corporate facility in Brownstown Township, MI . This is a hybrid role combining coordination and administrative support with physical maintenance responsibilities—ideal for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in keeping a facility running smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilities Coordination & Administrative Support:
Support the Regional Facility Manager with day-to-day operations
Receive and dispatch maintenance requests to technicians and vendors
Assist with vendor coordination, service contracts, and procurement
Schedule and track maintenance activities, inspections, and special projects
Provide front-line communication with staff, visitors, and contractors
Help manage operational reporting, budgeting, and auditing support
Support meeting setup, conference room reservations, and event coordination
Assist with financial tasks including accounts payable and receivable
Ensure excellent customer service and timely follow-up on service requests
Contribute to cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintenance Helper Duties:
Assist with general office maintenance (e.g., hanging pictures, furniture repairs)
Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
Move furniture and equipment as needed
Support operations staff with building systems maintenance and repairs
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces
Use Hi-Lo or powered industrial trucks occasionally (training provided)
Record completed work accurately and efficiently
Attend safety training and follow site safety protocols
2+ years of facility or property administration experience
Experience supporting a facilities or operations team preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with minimal supervision
Basic hands-on repair and maintenance knowledge
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with safety standards and building systems is a plus
Willingness to be both at a desk and on your feet, shifting between coordination and hands-on support
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods
Capable of lifting and moving furniture or equipment occasionally
Must be comfortable working both indoors and around building systems
