Calibration Field Service Technician – All Experience Levels

Location: Canton, Michigan
Type: Full-time | Travel required (up to 4 nights per week)

About the Role
We’re growing and looking for Field Service Technicians at all experience levels—from seasoned professionals to mechanically inclined individuals ready to learn. In this role, you’ll install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a range of precision measurement systems, including optical comparators, vision systems, hardness testers, surface plates, and CMMs.

Whether you bring years of field experience or a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and curiosity to learn, we’ll provide the training, tools, and support you need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair precision measurement equipment

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues

• Read and interpret technical diagrams (training provided if new to the field)

• Provide excellent customer service and technical support at client sites

• Travel up to 4 nights per week using a company vehicle

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Great communication and customer service mindset

• Ability to work independently

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred (for experienced candidates):

• 1+ years as a calibration service technician

• Experience with metrology brands/software such as Starrett, Micro-Vu, or Mitutoyo

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical/electrical diagrams
