The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
• Lead internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data using statistical methods to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage customer quality complaints, investigating issues and driving effective resolutions.
• Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through audits and performance reviews.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Strong understanding and application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques for process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100).
• Advanced understanding and application of GD&T.
