Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to all employees, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Manage hazardous waste streams, air emissions, and wastewater discharge to ensure environmental compliance.
• Conduct EHS audits and inspections, tracking closure of findings and driving continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing setting, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Professional EHS certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies within EHS programs.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms and data analytics for trend analysis.
• Experience working in a multi-site or global manufacturing environment.
