Precision Jig and Fixture Fabrication Specialist

Impact of the role

Own the integrity of tooling builds from print to sign-off. You’ll keep programs on schedule and customers flight-ready.

Core responsibilities

• Interpret build prints; execute builds to exact customer specs
• Compute unspecified dimensions; perform layout across diverse materials
• Define reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and precision measurement
• Fit, assemble, and align tooling components; lead or support team assembly for Aerospace customers
• Repair and rework tools to restore functionality and compliance
• Produce sketches/diagrams to guide fabrication
• Operate equipment as needed: lathes, Bridgeports, and grinders
• Fulfill additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a fixture builder in Aerospace
• Proficiency with GD&T concepts and application
• CATIA V5 and ENOVIA experience preferred
• Blueprint literacy (read, interpret, act)
• Strong math, written, and verbal communication
• Excellent organization and follow-through
• Deadline-driven mindset with awareness of business impacts
• Exposure to ISO 9001 and AS9100 environments desired
• High School Diploma or equivalent
