Construction Management Internship Application
- Assist in detailed quantity takeoffs of various project types and scopes.
- Learn to understand and decipher construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Organize/upload project specific documents into the project management software and distribute to WIELAND team members and trade partners when necessary.
- Adhere and enforce the safety and cleanliness of the jobsite.
- Engage in discussions with potential trade partners during the bidding phases and add them to the directory when appropriate.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes, including OAC or trade partner meetings.
- Take photos of Project progress and upload into the project management software.
- Create and manage Submittals and RFI’s and distribute to the correct parties.
- Log onsite progress in daily logs, include trade specific descriptions, manpower, delays, and deliveries.
- Work with WIELAND team to develop and understand detailed budgets.
- Track material procurement and long lead time items.
- Assist with receiving and storing closeout documents and the completion of punch list items.
- Create and manage observations.
- Ability to receive methods for improvement or constructive criticism.
- Respects differences and similarities; listens and takes the time to understand viewpoints of others.
- Maintains and displays company values and culture.

- Currently studying construction management or working in related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Technology skills are preferred.
