Billing Specialist Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Billing Specialist. This role involves working directly with our partners to collect, verify and reconcile important booking information. This position is communication-heavy and requires frequent phone and email interaction. You will work in conjunction with the Billing Department as well as department management. The ideal candidate is comfortable following up with partners, asking questions, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

• Daily tasks include outbound phone calls and writing professional emails
• Review submitted documents for accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies and ensure all records meet internal requirements
• Contact external representatives to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary.
• Enter key data daily into databases and spreadsheets.
• Gather required documentation and data in a timely and professional manner
• Perform all daily duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• 1-3 years of prior administration or customer service preferred

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
40 hours/week (mandatory, in office position)
