Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for an O-Ring Assembler for our client in New Haven MI.

Pay rate: $18 per hour
Shift: 7am to 3pm (Monday through Friday) - Overtime based upon production needs.

Position Overview:
Run and operator machinery in an organized manner while following all procedures and safety instructions

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of hoppers as needed
• Sort /perform box audits
• Weigh, seal, and label boxes
• Material handling/pull material for changeovers
• Perform final audit and all instructions per control plans
• Enter work orders in as needed
• Verify test parts and poke-yokes
• Follow production schedule provided
• Maintain log sheet, and all Q-plant transactions for scrap and production
• Any and all other duties assigned by Supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, continuous sitting
• Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
• Pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs
• Use of hands and legs
• Speak clearly, oral communication and hearing conversation
• Ability for rapid manual/muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist/hands/fingers
• Vision: depth perception and distinguish basic colors

Working Conditions:

• Works inside within an automotive component manufacturing setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
• Noise: constant above 85dcb with vibration
• Occasionally work with chemicals, grease, oils, machinery with moving parts, moving vehicles, alone and more than 40 hours

Protective Equipment Required:

• Eye protection required
• Hearing protection required
