We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role involves managing essential accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, while ensuring accuracy in financial records and data entry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and proficiency in using QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:• Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize QuickBooks to organize and maintain financial records.
• Perform detailed data entry to ensure accuracy in all accounting operations.
• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor and reconcile financial discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve accounting-related inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain organized documentation for auditing and record-keeping purposes.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks software.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in invoice processing.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
