Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for products and manufacturing processes.
• Manage and reconcile inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods).
• Prepare detailed cost reports, performance analysis, and budget vs. actuals.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of manufacturing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of cost accounting data and internal controls.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP CO, PP; Oracle EBS) relevant to manufacturing costing
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel modeling
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation
