Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Sparta, MI
Pay : $16-18/hr
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Friday: 5:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. This position involves operating machinery, performing light assembly, and conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive to detail, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery according to work instructions and safety guidelines
- Perform light assembly tasks as needed
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Read and interpret part drawings, procedures, and manuals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable with strong attendance record
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings and instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous machine operator experience is a plus
