Cardiovascular Telemetry RN – Night 3×12-Hour (19:00–07:30) Unit: 3N – Cardiac Telemetry (54 beds, main cardiac unit) Start: ASAP Shift: 3×12 nights, 19:00–07:30 | 36 guaranteed hours Experience: 1+ year required First-timers: Accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Locals: Not accepted (must live 50+ miles from facility) Call: None Weekends: Every other weekend Holidays: Must work 2 of 3 holidays Block Scheduling: Cannot be guaranteed, but managers try to accommodate Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5–6; can go up to 1:7 during call-ins Patient Population: Heart failure, STEMI/NSTEMI, post-MI, stroke needing cardiac monitoring, arrhythmias, chest pain; may include overflow medical patients Telemetry: Remote monitoring room + close unit monitoring; patients may be on cardiac drips Scrubs: Caribbean Blue Charting: Cerner PowerChart
