Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to determine proper welding procedures.
• Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc) to join metal components according to specifications.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to industry standards and specifications.
• Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on welded parts as required.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts with precision and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial welding environment.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.
• AWS certification or equivalent professional welding credentials.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with additional fabrication processes (e.g., cutting, grinding, fitting).
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, overhead crane).
• Basic computer skills for logging work or accessing digital documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot welding equipment or process issues.
