Job Title: Service Crew Worker

Are the kind of person that can fix just about everything and like to work as part of a service crew? If so, let’s talk!

You know your way around power tools, understand leverage, jacking and can work with aluminum, steel, and wood in the field. You are skilled or experienced at repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and are confident working with electrical gear driven motors. We do preventive maintenance with lubricating and tighten fitting and more in depth troubleshooting and repairing. Our service crews work in MI and OH and are on the road 4 days a week. This position requires travel with 3 overnights per week. Lodging, meals, tools, work pants and shirts and company vehicle to ride in, is provided. Your schedule is Monday -Thursday, Four 10-hour days from 7:30a-5:30p. You are off, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Must be willing to ride in company vehicles sometimes long distances. Must possess good mechanical skills. Must be organized and detail oriented. Good communication with clients, team members and supervisors is required. Must pass a physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities :

· Works under the direct supervision of the Service Crew Leader.

· Complete tasks as directed by the Service Crew Leader. Take initiative on job sites to work effectively and efficiently.

· Inventory tools with your crew at the completion of the work at each job site.

· Is a fast learner and builds knowledge while working on new tasks.

· Keeps the jobsite orderly and clean. Removes debris and supplies at the completion of the work.

· Once back at the shop, completes the unloading and cleaning of trucks along with stagging materials and tools need for the next job.

4. Adheres to and upholds the company’s standards as set forth in the Employee Handbook.

5. Completes assigned continuing education courses and attend all staff meetings.

7. Consistently reports to work on time.

8. Works as a team, collaborates with co-workers, and communicates in a professional and respectful manner.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The employee is often required to stand, walk and climb stairs. The employee is often required to bend over, stoop, kneel or crawl. Employee is required to drive or ride in vehicles for extended amounts of time, as much as 6 hours or more in some instances. The employee is often required to lift and or move objects up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 80 lbs. or more. The employee is often required to use power tools such as drills, impacts, saws, and grinders. The employee is often required to use step ladders and extension ladders.

Work Environment

The employee will work in a smoke-free environment. The employee will work at clients’ facilities, including gymnasiums, arenas, athletic fields, ice rinks, pools, stadiums, and other sports venues. The employee will work both indoors and outdoors. Weather may become inclement at times when working outdoors. The employee will spend time in company vehicles driving to and from clients’ facilities, often out of town and occasionally out of state. The employee will spend several nights per week lodging in hotels and may share a room with co-workers at times.
