To perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and assist in the transportation of vehicles to

get repairs. The primary responsibility is to resolve in-house or out-sourced vehicle

maintenance repairs or vehicle camera installations. Time will be split between Whitmore

Lake and Novi vehicle locations. A secondary duty may be to assist in snow-removal and

building maintenance repairs or buildouts if deemed necessary.

Role and Responsibilities

Administrative

- Work with maintenance coordinator to prioritize vehicle maintenance repairs

- Assist maintenance coordinator with strategic maintenance plans and budgeting

- Maintain accurate activity and all applicable records of vehicle related documents

- Monitor and follow maintenance schedules

Operations

- Perform maintenance repairs within scope of skills on vehicles and other machinery

when necessary

- Coordinate transportation to and from repair shops

- Coordinate the picking up of supplies for repairs

- Preparation and coordination of all inspections of vehicles

- Ensure all vehicles maintain a clean and professional look in the interior and exterior

- Ensure all vehicles are safe to be operated on the road

- Keeps supervisor informed of status and informs team of any significant issues on a timely basis Partner Communications

- Coordinate with other maintenance technicians about their maintenance programs

- Keep good working relations with local vendors and other business partners

- Communicate with local and statewide transportation providers to be up to date on programs and tools for maintenance.

Qualification and Requirements

3+ years of vehicle maintenance and minor mechanical repair experience Preferred Skills

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple duties

- Effective communicator - Reliably follows work schedules

- Team player - Ability to work independently with general supervisor oversight

- General understanding of vehicle mechanics

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
