Instructional Aide Substitutes Per Diem, Flexible School-Based Roles
Location: Dearborn, MI

Seeking dedicated Instructional Aides to provide compassionate, one-on-one support to students in a structured school environment. These per diem opportunities offer flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting academic, behavioral, and social growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Aid students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to pass a TB test (per district requirements)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting when necessary
• Required clearances must be current or obtained prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
