Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and facilitate new product introductions.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, best practices, and robust documentation for manufacturing operations.
• Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient utilization of engineering tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies within engineering activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) and 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, Lean principles, Six Sigma, and quality management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion, driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, implement effective solutions, and align engineering strategies with business objectives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT, AI/ML in production).
• Proficiency with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
