Maintenance Supervisor

• Develop maintenance goals and objectives; ensure repairs are being completed to reduce downtime; develop and drive preventive and predictive maintenance goals and objectives.
• Possess the ability to perform the following, as well as train employees to:
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment, such as programmable controllers.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment as it relates to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulics by methods such as welding, soldering, wiring, fabricating, painting/etc.
• Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair Electrical systems both AC and DC up to 480v
• Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
• Establish excellent working relationships with all departments and support personnel.
• Exhibit a strong sense of urgency to problem-solving through practicing and perfecting root cause analysis.
• Position may require sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, reaching (including over the head), lifting, and other movements (not specified) for long periods of time
• Attend and complete any Company or outsourced trainings, as assigned
• Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
• Must wear PPE required for this position (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).

This job may require the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, stretching/reaching (all directions), climbing, pushing/pulling, and requires continuously lifting to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, and use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years working experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Must have at least 1 year working experience in supervision/leadership position, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Must be 18yrs. of age or older.
• Must possess H.S. Diploma, G.E.D., or equivelant.
• Must be able to read and understand technical drawings, instructions, and/or blueprints.
• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• Must possess a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuitry, certifications preferred, but not required.
• Must possess working ability to use test equipment and tools.
• Must possess ability and have working experience to read and understand electrical and hydraulic prints.
• Must be able to work independently, establish priorities and communicate effectively while following policies, procedures and protocols.
• Must be able to have full physical ability Able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, stretch, push, pull, reach, and climb for prolonged periods of time to service, repair, and clean industrial equipment and fixtures.
• Able to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
• Must perform any/all duties assigned by department manager.
• Must possess a valid, current driver's license (not expired, restricted or suspended).
• Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
