Salary Range: $63,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the finishing department production team.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications through regular inspection.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of finishing operators and technicians.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with finishing equipment and processes.
• Manage material flow and inventory for finishing operations to prevent delays and minimize waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing department.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, assembly, inspection) and associated equipment.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to achieve quality and output targets.
• Demonstrated proficiency in implementing and enforcing quality control standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with automated finishing systems or robotic painting.
• Proficiency in ERP/MES systems for production scheduling and inventory management.
• Ability to conduct advanced root cause analysis for finishing defects (e.g., using 8D methodology).
