Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and inspection procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze production processes and product quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and design reviews to ensure quality requirements are integrated.
• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Perform internal and supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100)
• ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor)
